Tour of the Royal National Institute for Blind (RNIB) Grimaldi Building (London)

Following the success of our members' tour of the Royal National Institute for Blind (RNIB) last September, we are pleased to have arranged another tour on Tuesday 23rd June, 1.30 - 3.30pm.

Located in King’s Cross, this pioneering space is more than RNIB’s headquarters - it’s a living showcase of how architecture can empower and include. The new office - which was opened by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh in June 2023 - was designed in consultation with blind and partially sighted people, as well as design experts to ensure the greatest accessibility possible.

What makes this building so special:

  • First UK office to fully adopt the neurodiversity standard BSI PAS 6463
  • Features include a domestic-style Living Room, adaptable lighting, and sensory-responsive design
  • Thoughtful wayfinding and colour contrast to support navigation and independence
  • Zoned acoustics and visual clarity to accommodate diverse sensory needs

Date: Tuesday 23rd June 2026

Time: 1.30 - 3.30pm

Location: RNIB The Grimaldi Building, 154a Pentonville Road, King's Cross, London N1 9JE.

Spaces: Limited to 20 attendees. To apply for a space, please email hello@preachinclusion.com and we will confirm availability.
